The second annual FeastivALL Fundraiser will be February 22 at Berry Hills Country Club!
FeastivALL was great fun last year as local experts faced off in a competition that paired a choice of beverages with five food courses prepared by local celebrity chefs.
John Brown (wine) and Rich Ireland (beer) will again choose the beverages
and Tim Urbanic of Cafe Cimino (right), who was recently named one of the Best Chefs in America - Southern Region, and Paul Smith of Buzz Food Service (left) will be preparing the meal. Check out the MENU HERE.
In a photo finish, wine edged out beer in 2013, but Rich is seeking revenge and has already began looking world wide for the finest craft beers to ensure victory this time. Of course, we don't expect John to rest on his laurels either. Tickets sold out early last time and we don't want you to be left out of the festivities, which will also include the finest silent auction in the valley, so purchase yours online here or at Taylor Books soon.
Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00PM and dinner at approximately 7:30PM. The silent auction will be open until the last course. Proceeds from FeastivALL go toward FestivALL 2014, celebrating our 10th year of Charleston's annual arts and entertainment festival. Tim and Paul will prepare a five-course gourmet dinner. Each course will be paired with a fine wine and craft beer chosen by John and Rich, Charleston’s top beverage consultants and Charleston Gazette columnists. After each course, guests will vote for the beverage pairing they like best. By the end of the night, one will emerge the winner.
In the spirit of FestivALL, the night will be a celebration of artistic expression, hosted by Mountain Stage’s Larry Groce and featuring a brief performances by some of Charleston’s most talented performers. Guests will also get the first look at schedule highlights and headliners for FestivALL 2014 and a chance to buy tickets in advance.
The silent auction will include vacation opportunities, high end art by local artists, autographed movie memorabilia, ticket packages and much more.
Tickets: $110 per person, $50 of which is tax-deductible. Tickets are available online here and at Taylor Books. Seating is very limited, so please act quickly!
