SORRY, THIS PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED Dancers from Lee’s School of Dance under the direction of Lee Jordan and members of the school’s awarded competition team showcase varied dance pieces.

Dances by Capital High School

Capital High School Dance Company under the direction of A. Michelle Legg and Tabitha Moore will present a program of varied dance styles by dancers from the school. The company consists of an auditioned ensemble that study and present concerts featuring both student and professional choreography.

Free Advanced Modern Dance Master Classes with artists from Attack Theatre

Attack Theatre dancers will teach a modern dance master class focusing on their signature physicality and kinetic fun. Exploring concepts of weight, flow and imagery, this class will incorporate choreographed phrase material from Attack Theatre's athletic repertory.

Class is free, but space is limited. Call 304-470-0489 to reserve. Please, only advanced dancers ages 14+.

Kids "Variety" Show

An evening showcase of local young talent hosted by Mark Davis. Kitchen and bar will be open with limited menu. Specialty “mocktails” available for kids. There will be limited space for “walk-in” sign ups.

Dance in Davis Park, "Reindeer Dream" with Carli Mareneck and Friends

For this year’s FestivALL Carli Mareneck has written a timeless parable set in the Russian Far East.  Adam DeGraff, gifted American Violinist, composed an original sound score which he will perform live.  His two talented children play the main characters:  the young girl, Maluk, and her beloved reindeer.  Mareneck plays the role of the wise grandmother and is joined by Becky Godby as a snow spirit.  In creating the props and costumes for Reindeer Dream, Mareneck found inspiration in the beautiful illustrations of Gennady Pavlishin.  The production is narrated by vocalist Morgan Cornwell wi

2nd Annual West V's Youth Got Talent

Youth participants will compete for various cash prizes up to $1,000 for their works and performances in art, dance, singing, poetry and more under the categories of general talents or drug prevention. Through D.R.E.A.M.S. (Diligently Reiterating Excellence through Academics, Mentoring, and Scholastics) mentoring programs with support of The Dreamtank Partnerships, Registration is FREE at http://www.iecevents.com/. #DrugPrevention.

Canaan Open Stage

All are welcome in this family-friendly open stage event! It doesn't matter if you sing, dance, play an instrument, tell stories, read poetry, tell jokes, paint a picture, or stand and have a staring contest. We want to see you perform.  Performances are on a first come, first-served basis with sign-up starting at 6:30pm. We ask the performers to please keep it family friendly and limit their performances to 2 songs or 10 minutes. Refreshments provided. http://www.canaanumcwv.org/
