Taste-of-ALL Winners

Taste-of-ALL Charleston once again provided an appetizing main event for 2015 FestivALL. The Taste vendors continue to draw in an eager crowd, ready to sample everything offered in the food wonderland that springs up as a premium occasion the first Sunday of the 10-day summer party. An added attraction during the Taste-of-ALL Charleston this year were demonstrations by three celebrity chefs.

Stormwater Art: Interactive Exhibits

WVDEP’s Nonpoint Source Program and the City of Charleston’s Stormwater Department are partnering to provide two interactive exhibits for the public:  (1) The Incredible Journey is an interactive game where children turn into a water molecule and work their way through the water cycle.  (2) River Path is an interactive public art exhibit of poetry “written” by the public who will be asked to reflect on the condition and pathways of their watershed.

WVIFF Screening of the 2015 Oscar Nominated Shorts – Animated

Festiv-ALT presented by Bud Light

This FestivALL Main Event, Festiv-ALTis free this year and moves to the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park. It features Virginia Appalachian roots quartet The Steel Wheels and Oklahoma native Parker Millsap, a 2014 nominee for the Americana Music Association's Emerging Artist of the Year.

A Play in a Day

The Alban Arts Center in partnership with The Appalachian Artists Collective in performance for Charleston's FestivAll: "A Play In A Day" This conceptional theatrical project will take a traditional folk story, and in the space of 24 hours; audition, cast, rehearse and stage a performance for Charleston's FestivAll. "A Play in a Day" is an excellent event for children and their families.
