
It’s a celebration of Washington Street becoming a public art gallery through the works of 30 talented local artists! East End Main Street and Bluegrass Kitchen are hosting the first ever public art auction solely featuring the work displayed via banners on the streetscape lamps on Washington Street East. Local musical talent will be showcased inside and on the street with none other than Miss Vicky as the evening’s auctioneer. Take home a piece of East End art history! The auction is from 5:00 until 6:30 PM celebration and the party lasts from 6:30 until it's over.
Thirty artistic interpretations of the East End are displayed via banners along Washington Street (from Greenbrier St. to Bradford St.). The original works from which the banners were made will be auctioned. The following artists will be represented: Ann Magnuson, Alex Morgado, Amanda Jane Miller, Amy Williams, Angel Harless, Bob Gates, Bob Rosier, Charly Hamilton, Chris Dutch, Eric Pardue, Erin Turner , Glen Brogan, Harold Edwards, Jamie Miller, Jeff Pierson, Joe Bolyard, Joe Mullins, Keeley Steele, Lynn Payne , Mack Miles, Naomi Bays, Paula Clendenin, Ray McNamara, Rebecca Burch, Reidun Ovrebo, Rob Cleland, Rob Hrezo, Robin Hammer, Mark Wolfe and Steve Payne.
