Three Things: My First, My Favorite, My Future (season 2, episode 7)

Season two, episode seven features features Nancy Payne Bruns of J.Q. Dickinson Salt Works, Jill Watkins 0wner of Watkins Design Works, and managing partner of Paterno's at the Park Niki Paterno Kurten-- Three female business owners and entrepreneurs!

Jill Watkins: Owner of Watkins Design Works, an NCIDQ– Certified interior designer with 25 years of experience In commercial interior design, and 20 years devoted to sustainable design. Jill is also the US Green Building Council in WV.

Niki Paterno Kurten: Since 2012 Niki has managed Paterno’s at the Park and helped launch the Paterno family back into the restaurant business. The Power Park restaurant features classic Italian  recipes from Mary Jo Paterno as well as new entrees by Tim Arden.

Nancy Payne Bruns: She & her brother Lewis Payne are 7th generation salt makers and partners at J.Q. Dickinson Salt-Works. They have come together to revive their  family’s 200 year trade in Malden, WV right outside of Charleston.

FestivALL is proud to present “Three Things: My First, My Favorite, My Future.” A live monthly series showcasing three creative thinkers who will share insight into three of their own unique works. Each guest will share their own very personal story of where they started, what they love and where they are going. 

This show will provide patrons an opportunity to engage with artists, craftsman and professionals from every walk of life. Our audience will see and experience completed works, works in progress and hear about new and exciting ideas still in their infancy. We will feature musicians, writers, painters, actors, craftsmen, chefs, sculptors and professionals of every kind, from classically trained traditionalists to modern and cutting edge trendsetters. With “Three Things” we hope to push out the boundaries of what we commonly think of as art and peel back the surface to reveal the people behind these beautiful works.

Tickets: $10 at the door (credit card fees apply)

Location: 816 Court St., Charleston, W.V.- John L. Dickinson Family Homeowner Education & Community Center (located in the Habitat For Humanity Restore) 

Parking: Parking is available in the lot across Court St. Please do not park in the ReStore parking lot.
