New to this year’s Capitol Street Art Fair and the Harvest Art Fair is Brandy Jefferys. Her unique works depict every day imagery in West Virginia that others typically keep to their memories and tummies.
Hailing from Huntington, WV, Brandy draws inspiration from her Appalachian home in quirky ways. She paints what surrounds her in the Mountain State, ranging from the beloved Tudor’s Biscuit to road kill that we’ve all seen winding through country roads. Most of her works are done in oil paints, but she also has a series of works made with pastels and a series of ink drawn mugshots.
