We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us for FestivALL Fall 2017! We celebrated our 6th year of fall festivities with a vibrant variety of talent in the capital city. The season became a work of art with the help of our community, including sponsors, volunteers and the talented artists we welcomed to town. FestivALL as a whole has become West Virginia's largest arts festivals with year round programming, and we thank you ALL for that!
During the 4 days of live music, dance, theater, art and family fun we saw the city come to life as local, regional and national talents displayed their craft in creative and imaginative ways at venues ALL over town.
Our 5th Harvest Art Fair brought together 28 local and regional artists that helped us extend our summer Capitol Street Art Fair into the fall months, our first Local Comedy Showcase was a sold out success, our annual Carriage Trail Leaf Walk welcomed over 300 people to the trail to experience the arts outdoors, Three Things closed out its second season of inspiring storytelling, and the American Shakespeare Center recieved a standing ovation at their production of The Taming of the Shrew. And let's not forget Mountain Stage with guest host Michael Cerveris which brought a collection of talented national acts to the stage that closed out the weekend.
Continue your artful adventures with us year round! Our monthly storytelling series Three Things: My First. My Favorite, My Future will star anew in 2018 featuring artists and professionals of ALL kinds who will share inspiring stories that uncover worlds beyond our own, and our Winter events will return. Mark your calendars for GoodNight on New Years Eve and our annual FeastivALL Fundraiser on February 24, 2018!
